Terms of Service
These are the rules for using LezConnect. They are a real contract, so they are worth a read, but we have kept them as short and as plain as we can.

Who you are agreeing with
LezConnect is operated by Lavender & Mayhem, LLC, a Louisiana company based in New Orleans, United States. By creating an account or using the service you agree to these terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use LezConnect.
Who can join
You must be 18 or older. LezConnect is a space for sapphic people and it is built for that community. You need to provide accurate signup information, you are responsible for keeping your password secure, and you are responsible for what happens under your account.
How to behave here
The point of LezConnect is that it is a place people can be themselves without bracing. That only works if everyone holds up their end. You agree not to:
- Harass, threaten, stalk, impersonate, or incite violence against anyone.
- Post hate speech, including transphobia, racism, or anything targeting people for who they are.
- Post sexual content involving minors, non-consensual intimate images, or anyone else’s private information.
- Out anyone, screenshot private spaces to expose people, or share another member’s identity or location outside LezConnect.
- Use LezConnect for spam, scams, solicitation, or commercial promotion without our agreement.
- Scrape, crawl, or bulk-collect member profiles or content, or attempt to break, probe, or circumvent the security of the service.
- Create an account after we have removed you.
Your content
What you post stays yours. You give us the permission we need to run the service, which means storing your content and showing it to the members you have chosen to show it to. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies in routine backups as they age out, and anything we must retain for safety or legal reasons.
You are responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to post it.
Events and meeting people
LezConnect helps you find events and people. It does not run the events and it does not vet the members.
- Events are created and hosted by members or by venues, not by us. We do not verify that an event is accurate, safe, or that it will happen.
- We do not perform background checks on members and we cannot confirm anyone is who they say they are.
- You meet people at your own risk. Use ordinary judgement: meet in public first, tell a friend where you are going, and leave if something feels wrong.
- Anything that happens between members, online or in person, is between those members. To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not responsible for it.
If someone makes you feel unsafe, block and report them. Every report is read by a moderator, who can remove content, limit features, or remove an account. You can also write to admin@lezconnect.app. We respond within 48 hours. If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first, and do not wait on us.
Enforcement
We can remove content, limit features, suspend, or permanently remove accounts that break these terms or put the community at risk. Where we reasonably can, we will tell you why. In serious cases, or where telling you would put someone at risk, we may act immediately and without notice.
Your account, ending it
You can delete your account at any time in the app. You can also ask us to do it by emailing admin@lezconnect.app. We may discontinue the service, or part of it, with reasonable notice.
The service as it is
LezConnect is provided as it is and as it is available. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted, error free, or that it will always be available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties, and our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to one hundred United States dollars. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Louisiana, without regard to its conflict of laws rules. Disputes will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Orleans Parish, Louisiana.
Changes
If we change these terms we will update the date at the top and tell you in the app before material changes take effect. Continuing to use LezConnect after that means you accept the new terms.
